It is another sunny day here in Sacramento, California. I have my scheduled day off from employment at the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter. I created a blog for it some time ago and will continue to post to it, build it up and share it with others as time goes by:

My progressive recovery goes well with no major issues in my personal life that threaten my continued sobriety. I am in relative good health, am safe at home n my own skin and am employed as a Counselor in a decent job that is in tune with my humane consciousness. As I am fond of saying at times, I have everything but the girl. Google it!

Many of us fail to fully appreciate the true blessings in our lives, especially those of us who are doing well in the spiritual realm of paltry existence. We need to always keep our personal self-love for ourselves, our love for others in our lives who help to make our lives truly worth living and above all our Love for the Creator of the Cosmos within whose womb we dwell.

The key is to truly cherish the many manifestations of beauty in our lives as we strive to transform the ugly that exists in this wicked world, including any ugliness in ourselves, such as, remnants of racism and other character defects that harm our Eternal Soul.

I still have my Computer Command Post here at the Gregg's Residence at Land Park Woods and am blessed to also have a home at the Chacon Casa across town in a pleasant neighborhood a walking distance from my 'home away from home' at Sally's!

Thus, any dormant fear of being homeless ~again~ is pretty much smoothed, though I will not be completely happy until all of God's children have a nice, safe and comfortable home. Homelessness is and should be on of the main 'issues' in the minds of world leaders, including our refugees.

My writing continue to be one of the main weapons I have to maintain the brain, secure my sanity and cope with life in this insane society.

Is that too much of a claim? To think an entire society is insane? Have you ever defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results? What is happening in Iraq? Remember Vietnam?

Have you not noticed the millions around you who refuse to question authority, who are afraid to rebel against evildoers, who are apathetic to the wrongs of the world?

Blessings and Heartfelt Prayers for Self-Esteem ~
