It is early and dark outside. We are to have Daylight Savings Time again soon.

Yesterday, a sweet friend of mine came by for a spell and visited me here at the canton on D Street. Her name is Flureffa Maria Seabrooks {maiden name}. She is a mellow maiden. I have a nickname for her, which is Flu-flu, that I thought of it naturally when I first met her as it was easier to pronounce and found out that Flu-flu is an old family nickname for her.

I have not been in an intimate relationship with a woman for what seems so long and right now we are only good friends who are affectionate to each other. I am not afraid though I am a little leery about getting involved with a woman right now in an intimate way. Time will reveal more with discernment from the Holy Ghost. I mainly want to keep my focus on my creative writing, take care of my health and do global networking. Yes, it seems so long...
Seems So Long: Lyrics » Stevie WonderWeb: http://www.lyricsdomain.com/19/stevie_wonder/seems_so_long.html
Lady love and lady cared
but lady went away,
And left me all alone to suffer.
And now I feel it's not fair
for me to fall in love
The truth is the real me you must uncover.
Seems so long, since I've heard the sound
It's been so long, since I've trusted in someone else,
Had to see it all for myself,
It's been so long, that the world seems cold,
But I think it's time in my life to find myself again.
Lady loved and lady stayed,
Until she was too pleased
She knew I wouldn't leave for her to suffer.
I'd never make her suffer.
Now I believe you're just like me,
In that you understand,
And want me for your man to always love me.
You can believe it's seems so long, since I've touched a wanting hand
Oh, it seems so long, since I've trusted in someone else,
Had to see this world for myself,
And it's been so long that the world seems cold,
Now I think I've found someone to make me trust in someone again.
I believe that I can trust in you.
At first, I was not going to reveal this in my Open Journal, but I know there is no shame in the purity of love or loving someone. There are different kinds, degrees and dimensions of love. I prefer agape love, which I have updated and think of it in the sense of cosmic humane love for all living creatures of the Creator!
"Agape is pronounced "ah-GAH'-pay". It is a Greek word. Found first in the biblical New Testament, agape expresses the spiritual, not physical, love of God for his people. It is an unconditional love and concern for others. Agape is a love that accepts everyone for who they are. This is the same love that God expressed for us through the death of Jesus Christ, His Son (1 John 4:9,10). It is a selfless love..."

In fact, I have been thinking about writing an article about intimate relationships in relation to the progressive recovery process for recovering addicts in terms of its promises and pitfalls.
I definitely believe that one should steer clear of and stay away from intimate relationships in early recovery, especially because there can be so many entanglements involved and we can easily get wrapped up in webs that we spin. Right now I have over ten years from shooting up crank and over three years of sobriety from alcohol, but quantity of one's sobriety is measured by a calendar and the quality of one's recovery is evidenced by behavior, mentality and spiritual growth!
The standard rule I have heard in AA circles is to not get involved in a relationship for a year or more when one is in early recovery. Many times it is our personal relationships and related issues, problems and contradictions that can take people down in their early recovery where they can slip then relapse back into their old negative and self-destructive behavior.
We should work on our intimate relationship with the Creator, with our inner self and then with someone else. One must be ready for an intimate relationship and not rush in as a fool. Love has its rewards and its responsibilities. The sun has risen and it shall be a great day! More will be revealed...
