The world keeps on turning around, life goes on and on. One day turns into the next. Each day I strive to progress in life, get another day of sobriety, try to help others as i can and I continue to raise consciousness around me one day at a time.
People 'in the world' are so caught up in their labors, their concerns and their interests on a survival level that they fail to see the big picture, have a global overview and possess a vision for the future. I really do believe that people are at heart good and will help others along the way. A lot of souls are lost, lonely and without an compass in their lives to help them steer through stormy waters.
So far, though most my life has been spent in Sacramento, I have lived a lot of life, related to many people and am daily exposed to the wretchedness of homeless people ~Amerika's domestic refugees~ as they strive to make it through the day. A lot of it entails the failure of people to take responsibility for their lives, for their thoughts, for their words and for their actions. Responsibility in the sense of having the ability to respond to life as it comes at them on a daily basis. Plus, many of us do not have a proper level of discipline and self-discipline.

I see it all, the connected reality within which i exist, as a matter of being in a constant state of striving for a better state of physical survival, a deeper level of basic sanity and gathering the required resources for success in life, as we also at a the same time strive to help others along the way. Selfishness is a great sin, yet to fathom one's self-interest in a situation is a part of staying equipped to deal with life as it comes. As I walk the streets I usually have a Buck knife in my pocket and stay aware of my immediate surroundings as I see what is ahead of me. One should keep in mind where one is going while one is moving forward!
At first glance, this seems easy and natural, but many people do not take the time to consider the consequences of their actions. Many are always rushing on without a coherent plan of action.
Pending revolution, I believe we all need to be a revolutionary liberated state of mind as revolution ultimately entails raising the people's general consciousness to a higher level of understanding so that they will work together and unity, see their common survival interests and rid the world of all of its evil oppressors by any and all means necessary without abandoning basic humane precepts and principles. We must ourselves remain sane and humane and not ape the monsters we defy.
Sometimes someone will see a worried expression on my face, a wrinkled frown and ask me, "What's wrong?"
I usually reply, "All the wrong in the world!"
We should remain open-minded, accept valid criticism from any party and always be ready to engage in self-criticism in order for us to raise our own consciousness and blossom in our spiritual growth. At the same time we must use our own minds and think for ourselves, figure stuff out in a way that makes common sense for us and not be blind sheep aimlessly following the 'party line' and perpetuating the horrors of war!
Amerikan Fascism is still 'in power and control', the Amerikan people still remain paranoid and the horrors of war continue on a mass scale. The Iraq War and Amerikan occupation continues, the corporate ruling class still control the means of production for our collective livelihood and many millions all over the world are still living hand-to-mouth on an empty landscape with only a hot sun above them. The tragedy of the Sudan continues, AIDs spreads all over the world and Latin America still suffers in mass silence.
Many people still look to the United States for answers, yet its fascist-racist government and corrupt officials mainly just add on to the problems of the world making a bad situation worse. The Amerikan people need to quit playing the game of harmless innocents and see the wrath of bad karma that is coming up for them because of their failure to confront an evil rogue regime that spawns more and more evildoings.
Much remains to be done among the masses. We still need to develop a strong vanguard party to help leave the people forward, but vanguard elements alone will not do. We must have the mass support of the masses of the people throughout the world in order to marshal mass consciousness and move it all in the direction of a true democratic socialist revolution!
Corporate capitalism must be condemned and all its parasites must be wiped off the map. The only rational alternative possible is democratic socialism where there is a real transformation of property relations between the 'haves' and the 'have-nots' so that the people can have ownership and control of the material means of production, the mass media of information for mass education, the real estate land and all the viable social institutions thereon.
