Response: Three Fallen Trees, what a mess..Life Goes On...

Friday Night, January 11, 2008

Hola Brother John ~~ Well hell I guess it takes three trees falling down on the house to get your attention and get you to take time out to Email me. I know you are usually busy doing computer nerd stuff to help all of us. And I am usually wrapped up with work stuff then getting strung out on the Net when I am here.

I figure with writing I want to leave a few thoughts behind before this world is done with me and I am a tortuously slow writer.

I want to try to go over tomorrow to see what the damage was and hope for the best. I am watching Numbers right now. I will call tomorrow and figure I will go over, but I hope there is a way to get back here or what as I have to do CASA Sunday evening and get some stuff prepared for that. I will call manana.

Do not know if you are on the net now. Figure that you would be. We will see. More tomorrow bro... Blessings and Prayers, Your Brother Peta
P.S. Picture attached of Barbara at her spot!

Hey Peter,

Sorry to be the one to share the bad news. On Jan 3rd 2008 at 6:am Barb and I were up getting started for the day, when out of nowhere three huge trees came through the roof. Poor Barb was in the kitchen at the sink, and I was at the computer trying to figure out why we were not able to get on the net, no telephone and cable tv. As I said poor Barb was in the kitchen screaming to me "what do I do?" I told her to sand still and as close to a wall as possable. like a person should during an eathquaake. its the safes way to be at the time. Thank God she did as she was told. Amen.

That was quite a sight for this blind stray to see and hear that morning. Could have used some of your fellowship at that time. I tried to be as strong as one could considering the situation. I tried be to the rock for Barb as the Lord is for the rest of the world. Thats not an easy task when all hell is breaking loose in your immediate world. Your stuff is still safe with us, however, I'm not sure which boxes is yours at this time. We had to evacutate right away. When we were sure all was done with the trees we went back in to start packing the house and moving to Apt: 59. Somehow I broke some ribs, and I'm the only one moving our house. No one will help for too long when not paid.

Anyway Brother, I just wanted to see how you were doing, after all you are family-- to us! I would like to know from time to time how you are doing. I'm sorry if this is longer then you would like to usually read- I just needed someone else to talk to. I feel drained both physically/mentally and spiritually.
Your Loving Family
John & Barbara
