It was a good day, in fact, it was a great day. I have a new secret love in my life and so far so good. I actually said a prayer for our love, know that God is love and approves of pure love between us: between a man and a woman. More will be revealed as time goes by. Later, we walked together to the CASA Meeting.
We had a great CASA Meeting at Sally's and I read aloud an update of an article entitled On the 12-Steps for Dummies. It was a powerful meeting with a lot of people in there checking it out. My Brother Bobby, GI Joe and others from the One-Step Up house came by. While I was reading my article there were some Christmas carolers outside from a visiting church in the parking lot that were caroling and it all had a real Christmas atmosphere. Christmas was in the air
but the evilness of Halloween is this coming Wednesday.
My article was well received and we discussed it all. I think some were surprised about my approach to recovery and are learning more about the Christian origins of A.A.
