I am watching the ABC-TV Series called Cane with Jimmy Smits, Hector Elizondo and others. It is about the only Latino program on an American station!

It is such a shame that we have millions of Latinos inside the United States and there is so little recognition of our existence. Other than a lot of negative news about illegal immigrants. Mexican immigrants are considered be illegal only in relation to U.S. law. However, from an international law perspective, those who are from Mexico cannot really be considered illegal within these lands when these lands of the continental United States, especially the south-western portion of the U.S.A. {called Aztlan by many Chicanos} are the native lands of all Mexicans. These lands were once all the native lands of its original indigenous peoples. We knew we belonged to Mother Earth, we did not really 'own' these lands.

In particular, the land of what was once Northern Mexico was stolen by threat of war from the United States and made official after the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo when Mexico figuratively and literally had a gun to its head.Indeed, a real knowledge of true history will reveal elementary truths that can enlighten masses of people worldwide.

The power of the Internet can be a key factor in helping to raise mass consciousness worldwide.

I am the Moderator for a few well known online groups and have several blogs for different purposes and with various themes. I know that despite the millions of people on the Internet that I do have an Internet presence associated with my name and my nickname Peta-de-Aztlan. The trick is to create websites, connected links, then webs that are weaved together so that if one comes across one key link they can travel onto web strands that are part of the World Wide Web.
