We all had a great day as a group among the people who were present, even with a few who were not so mentally present and apparently were on one mind-altering drug or another. Some folks were drinking beer but they were acting cool. The people in Delores Park were peaceful and the people in San Francisco seem to be basically friendly people with free spirits. The Bay Area weather itself was sunny and cool with occasional light breezes that reminded me of how close we were to the great Pacific Ocean.
Sobriety is a great way of living because it is in our sobriety when we are best fully capable of experiencing life as it is and even having the miracle of remembering our experiences. Sometimes I deeply regret all the drunken times, even if I had a good drunken time, that has so many blackout episodes of not even remembering what occured.
Sobriety blended with a basic sanity is even more of a precious state of being and brings us into oneness with the Creator.

Above: Big Brother and the Holding Company ~original members and a great new lead female singer!
Pictures in collage above: I believe the view of San Francisco from the ridge around the top edge of Delores Park is one of the best city views.
A collage of Peta-de-Aztlan in the Mission District of San Francisco. If my life circumstances and my personal finances permit me to do so, I want to move there within the next few years to stay.
