Gracias Sister Linda~ I do get your weekly reports, blog some. Am kind of going with the flow. Got Laid Off from Salvation Army Emergency Shelter on Sept. 1st, had some money for rent for a few months, was going to work for a friend as a Care Worker for her son, but that fellthrough. Job situation in Sacramento sucks now. Feel like going to Bay Area/San Francisco where I figure there are more opportunities.
Basicallly, was on an imposed Sabbatical for several months, then went on a Spiritual Retreat in Amador County. I know I will have to suffer in the immediate times to come but I am just wanting out of the whole slave market. I will obey my own calling, listen to my inner voice and be true to my mission in life: to help the people!
In the short term I am scheduled to be a client at the local Volunteers of America Homeless Shelter for a couple of months with an option of two more months at Salvation Army. I suspect that the Management at Salvation Army think that I would be controversial being a client now.
I know some people thought it unfair when I got Laid Off from my former Position as Case Manager and Counselor (self-created) at Salvation Army. Consider that I our lived FOUR SUPERVISORS and was not once asked to take on a Supervisory Role (though I was content in my previous role).
I tried the wage-slave route, gave all my heart to helping my former clients and now it seems that I need to raise the stakes, become more radical in this passive sleepy reactionary society.
I will not settle for my bowl of beans and pretend to be happy. Imagine if a person was so oriented that the loss of no material object could cause this person mental disorganization? Such a person would have to be totally committed to social transformation, such a person would have to be a free agent and only the free agent can help us now. Free agents without fear can function as catalysts for bringing about transformative social changes. Free agents cannot be co-opted by authoritarian fascism ~cannot be bought off or corrupted.
Fortunately, I am in good health, have no wife and no children. Thus, I do not have the personal obligations that others have in society. I must play the cards I was dealt. I am 59-Earth years, know I have helped to influence at least hundreds of people here in Sacramento and who know how many thousands online to consider alternative methods of social change and raising consciusness.
Hell, I don't even consider myself an Amerikan anymore. I am a Chicano de Aztlan. I do not want to die an old feeble man regretting that I did not offer as much resistance as I could against the evil powers of darkness that prevail in the land. I am not going to vote for Obama again and I refuse to choose between the lessor of two evils. I will use the power of the word via truth to help improve the general situation. We can change the world when we change ourselves. All Love!

Hope to get into Shelter next week at VOA ~think they are a little concerned I might stir up real consciousness or controversy at Salvation Army if I go in as a client. Major Mark at Sally's contacted Angelo at VOA about my going in there for two months, then if needed then going into Sally's.
We will see what we will see. I remember when I was homeless before sleeping out in the bushes with suppose to be having family. I guess there was an unspoken concern about my possible drug usage, so we can leave that understanding there.

Am praying I can get at least a cell phone, am trying not to commit a violent crime but I am going to come out of this all stronger, wiser and perhaps more cynical (not senile).
