@11:24 AM ~ A former client of mine from Sally's named Joe is now a tenant here. I hope he does well. Talked a bit to Brother James who is still alive. Saw my Brother Bobby by the K Street Mini-Mart. Bought a Homeward Street Journal from Bill Bryant, another former client.
@11:30 PM ~ I was going to do a new Video, but did not get around to it. I am into quality more than quantity. I am learning more about myself in context of connected reality via my self-expressions. Some stuff comes from my mind, some from my heart and other stuff from cosmos (for lack of a shorter word) of collective consciousness (for lack of a better phrase).

@9:18 AM ~ I slept off-and-on last night. Sometimes there is just a lot of thoughts ticking off in my brain. I get my intellect pretty stimulated throughout the day and get vivid dreams.
@5:06 PM ~ Time to get ready for my weekly CASA Meeting. Did not get around to getting cookies this week for it. We are there to help each other heal and share.
@9:18 PM ~ We had a chit-chat at the CASA Meeting since we only had three at first who were regulars. After a bit we had a few more, including one sister who quit all her dope and smoking tobacco on February 13, 2013 cold turkey. Recovery is a process. Despite miracle curses I recommend folks still get a basic understanding of a basic 12-Steps Program before crowing about being all well and wonderful cured by the Lord and all. Old habits died hard. I wish her well.
Life seems to have traps and pitfalls that get us caught up along the way, esp. if we are not mindful along the way and on-guard in new situations.
After the CASA Meeting, a Brother Viktor and I caught the Light-Rail onto the Mall. There were a lot of folks who were partying earllier on the mall. Youngsters having fun. I wonder how many of them will turn out to be addicts or have relationship problems because of their behavior. Hell, I must be getting old. I just hope they all make it home safe. Sometimes life is snuffed out at a young age before one has even had time to take part of its many pleasurs and pains.

Comment: My Birthday is November 15, 1951 in Sacramento, California. I am not sure what it was or is but I have been feeling kind of stuck the last couple of weeks. This 'feeling' was possibly aggravated by this Mercury Retrograde. I am not a fanatic about astrology. I do belief in the concept of 'as above, so below'.
I have been doing a lot of Personal Inventory, self-criticism and introspection about myself. I am looking at what is the best use of my time. I have not typed up much the last couple of weeks. I have not been as creative as usual. I do not believe in forcing my own creativity, prefer to be inspired.

@8:00 AM ~ I am suppose to have the Pest Control man come in my room today. Thus, I need to do some stuff to prepare: gather up bedding, stuff in cart; clear some stuff away from wall and then I need to be out of here for a few hours. I will not have my usual morning routine. I suppose it is a necessary inconvenience.
@11:11 PM ~ Today I indulged myself and bought a Fender acoustic guitar for $194. It is in good condition I bought from the Pawn Shop next door to here. I am going to give my old one to my Friend Mike's son.
One of the great psycho-social dividers among people is the one between men and woman ~males and females. We need to be conscious of this and not degenerate into the old War Between the Sexes. In different ways this warring attitude between men and women hleps the fascists stay in power and secure, esp. because one's gender-sexual identity is a key part of our whole personalty profile.
We need to be able to analyze and understand all dividers than weaken our collective unity: sex, race (so-called as there is only one actual race of human beings), class, nation, tribe etc. This is not to say such dividers do not exist, but we must ask ourselves if they are really necessary?
We do not want a bunch of mindless clones and should appreciate the beauty of dversity, but let us not forget all that we have in common as humane beings who are hopefully also humane in in all their relations.

@12:26 AM ~ I am still up and running.
@6:00 AM ~ I slept some but I am up now. Need to wash and dry my bedding. Get stuff done today. Being is good, but doing in our being can be better. Time to go get cafe. Yes, in a way, I am still an addict, just free of the old addictions that winded up me being by the ditch in the Heights.
@1:04 PM ~ My Brother Bobby came by during the N.A. Meeting and gave me a cool Native health calendar. This afternoon I went to Burger Inn and had my usual upgraded Jumbo Burger with friends and lemonade. I have already washed and dried my bedding, made my little bed and imagine I will take me a little catnap to catch up on my sleep. I pray it is quiet around here and in here!
Power is being able to define and change reality, yet we must correctly define phenomena and fine-tune our definitions.

@8:07 AM ~ I slept pretty well. I had a couple of saved cups of cafe here, so there was no need to go to K-Street Mini-Mart this morning. So far going there has been a regular routine, so I need to change it and possibly go get another coffee maker.

@4:36 PM ~ Just got back from GO. It is a beautiful cool sunny day here in Sacramento. The rains have gone and Spring is in the air!

Comment: We need to look at the Big Picture. What we see is a global matrix of Liberation Movements going on at different stages of historical development. Movements come and go, develop and expand, go through changes and stimulate other related movements. The basic needs of the people remain the same: food, clothing, shelter, decent medical care and quality education. The War between good and evil is an ancient war.
Because of the #IdleNoMore Movement we here in the United States have become more aware of the existence of Canada than before, more aware of Indigenous issues in Canada and it has helped to stimulate the Chicano-Latino Movement here, including Immigrant Rights Movement in general. Many of us Chicanos have become more aware of our natural native indigenous roots as people of Mother Earth.
Each of us can contribute to the greater good in our own way, depending on our individual circumstances. The Liberation Movement must be integrated into our cultures as a way of life, not just a temporary fast, protest or unsustainable occupation.
Our collective Liberation Movement is not for the weak of heart who want a quick fix or band-aid for conditions that have taken centuries to get to this point. We need to think in terms of protracted war, exhaust all peaceful methods of resistance and never give up on our intercommunal struggles for peace, democracy, justice and a safe environment.

@9:57 AM ~ I slept pretty well, got up, got my cafe and attended the Friday Morning N.A. Meeting here at the Shasta Hotel. My beloved Brother Bobby was there and I shared briefly. Those of us who consider ourselves as being in recovery need to get 'for real' and take our recovery seriously: study the 12-Steps, attend a home group on a regular basis, get a sponsor or guide and just stay straight one day at a time.
The shadow within us makes it easier to hate than love ~to covet than share ~to be jealous than applaud ~to kill than to heal.
@11:54 PM ~ It is almost midnight. I am a little disappointed in myself for not typing up an article I have been working on a little. Tomorrow is a brand new day. I figure a day is not wasted when I at least learn something new, am exposed to a different experience and get a better understanding of myself. Tomorrow I will start all over again!

@1:34 PM ~ I woke up way late, then I was up way late. I still got my 3 cappuccino large coffee cups at the K Street Mini-Mart. Life goes on and I feel good. I have my CASA 12-Steps Meeting this evening.
@8:51 PM ~ We had a good small CASA 12-Steps Meeting with several in attendance. My Brother Mike aka Gallo was there and a few precious Black sisters came to their 1st CASA Meeting. It seems the whole Recovery Movement has become less and less of a positive force around here. I am not sure what the larger picture is, but folks are not as interested as they use to be about getting involved in a recovery process. It could be that as more and more people are into taking psychotropic drugs and other pharmaceutical medication that the lines are being blurred between valid medication use and drug abuse leading to addiction. Hell, the whole damn society is addicted in different ways on different levels. Nada mas ahora.

@8:19 AM ~ I went to bed late and was awoken by two ass-os talking too loud in the kitchen area across the hall. I got up and told them, "I was actually sleeping in here. I am going to raise hell today." I went and took a piss and they had scurried away. It is simply a matter of people being inconsiderate, which happens a lot around here.
I got up, took a quick shower and went to get my cafe. I saw my Brother Bobby, he was going to go to the N.A. Meeting at Cesar Chavez Plaza Park. Cool.

@12:09 PM ~ I did not sleep well at all last night. I am washing and drying my bedding and other clothes. Life is what it is.
I now have 2,263 Followers @Peta_de_Aztlan and 592 Followers @Humane_Being ~It is certain that my typed words are reaching out to a lot of people. I hope my typed words also stimulate introspection, raise a humane consciousness and encourage positive action in the world. Political labels for describing people have historical relativity ~ I actually think I'm a conservative in reactionary times!
@7:54 PM ~ Just got up from a little catnap. Feel better, more here alive and conscious than I did earlier. My but the day has once again become the night.
@10:45 PM ~ Just came back into my bunker. Went for a little stroll on the K with my Amigo Joe. Lots of young folks enjoying life and socializing. Afterward, I went and checked out Joe's Room up on the 5th Floor. It is a good size with a great downtown view. Must be nice. Still, I appreciate my blessings. At times I have had a pretty rough life, though it is all relative. I am glad I have my sanity (again relatively) and a good mind on a good day.

@12:42 AM ~ I am still up from yesterday. Sometimes I get so absorbed in stuff that the passing of time escapes me. Keeping an active mind helps to prolong longevity.
@1:20 PM ~ I got up around 10:30 AM. I needed the solid sleep. I called my Nephew Steven S. and had a good long conversation with him. I have been disconnected from immediate blood family a lot these last several years. When I became homeless in the streets and no one in my so-called blood family took me in it made me take a good look at who really relates to me as family or not. Becoming homeless is a great eye-opener.

Let us pray for all the homeless refugees in the land. What kind of government allows its citizens to suffer homelessness?
Let us pray we write or type what needs to be expressed to the world ~not being crippled by our own self-censorship.
Let us pray we respect all great religions, but not let religions be an escapist excuse for not taking responsibility in the world.
Let us pray we remember that whether you believe in reincarnation or not, you only live one lifetime as a time. Live it well.
Let us pray for our Brother Leonard Peltier ~a prisoner in Fascist Amerika's concentration camp. None are all free until all are free.
