@8:12 AM ~ I had a richly textured dream involving native cultural heritage. I have a few images, yet mostly feelings. I heard a disturbance here this morning, a woman (sounded White) screaming at a dude, but did not hear him. It was upstairs somewhere from here. We will see what today brings in terms of news, information and revelations.
Praise the Lord! Apparently I am still hooked up here with Internet Access.
@10:54 AM ~ On my way to get cafe I came by a group of Black brothers and we talked about the homeless situation in Sacramento. We are suppose to meet tomorrow at 9 AM at the Homeless Task Force Meeting at the Delaney Center at Loaves & Fishes. I have been to those meetings off and on for a long time and it is all related to Safeground. I have not seen any tangible results yet and am doubtful unless the City of Sacramento makes a firm commitment to establish a Safeground. There was a Brother Leo from the Santa Rosa area who is new blood here in Sacramento and he is pretty fired up!

@5:07 AM ~ It is another day, another way and another chance at helping to make it a better world.
@10:15 AM ~ I took a little walk to Farmer's Market at Cesar Chavez Plaza and brought $5.00 worth of fruit. I need to eat more fruits and vegetables. My energy level can vary a lot during the day, when I want it to be on an even keel. I am uncertain how much of it is my blood sugar levels because of Type II Diabetes. I refuse to get strung out on any medication of any kind. I am still a recovered dope fiend and drunk who remembers the hideous hell I was in before.
@7:26 PM ~ Sometimes it's the small victories that help keep me going. I finally defrosted my little refrigerator here with a broken freezer door than does not freeze stuff but makes glaciers around the ice box. In terms of housing, we are at the bottom of the housing chain here at the Shasta Hotel. I count my blessings but wish I had more of them to count.

@8:27 AM ~ We were awoken with a Fire Alarm here at the Shasta Hotel. I got up, dressed and for a few items, then went to K Street Mini-Mart for cafe. Talked for a bit with a Black Brother named Kareem who seems intelligent. He was reading book by Frederick Douglass. Now I am back in my bunker. I hope to have a creative day.
@1:49 PM ~ I just had my Room Inspection by Manager Kenya. I passed so that is a relief for me. Folks do not seem to tell when I am stressed out about something. Over the years I have cultivated a poker face than can mask my emotions. Thus, I big stress source for me is over and behind me. I need to keep up on a little maintenance in here better in the future.
Let us pray we do our own basic research about controversial circumstances before we jump to conclusions.
So many personal problems can be resolved when we start on the basis of self-love and make healthy decisions based upon self-love.

9/6/2013 ~ As a humane rights activist, I am against any military attacks against #Syria. It will make a bad situation worse than ever. I hope American citizens are more awake and aware of the global issues involved than they were when the U.S. Regime did the 'shock and awe' against Iraq.
If Assad is the problem why not send in another Seal Team 6 to capture him (not dump him in the ocean)? Oh wait! Did Pharoah leave any witnesses from ST6 after Obama bin Laden was killed?!?
It is a very real possibility that this time the warnings about a WWIII are real and legitimate. Sadly, most Americans feel powerless to do anything about it so Pharoah Obama will continue his Endless War of Terror. Besides, most folks who are not personally affected by it all will just keep on living in their make-believe world of thinking we are in a genuine democracy.
I love my country, despite my criticisms of the rogue government, but clearly Americans need to all wake up, get involved in progressive politics and help promote true Peace on Earth! Am I naive or just dreaming?

@10:05 AM ~ I knew it was just a matter of time. My Internet Connection is now disconnected so I need to make do without it. I bless the Lord for the grace period before it went out. I know I can usually go to the local library or even across the street, but there is nothing like the convenience of having your own connection at home.
@11:12 AM ~ I will have to wean myself from any Internet Addiction here. I need to look at the positives and negatives in any situation. I could be in prison in solitary confinement! Here in my bunker I consider it a kind of solitary refinement. From here I can work on refining my character, my inner soul and my journalistic skills.

@10:17 AM ~ I had bad cramps in my instep area of my legs last night. Probably due to age, not stretching out and not drinking enough water. I will take a shower, get a little dressed then go to my Yoga Class at the SRO Office. We had a small little CASA Meeting last night, but we had one!

@2:05 PM ~ I went to my Yoga Class. There were several people, one looked like a Latina. It was good to go. Then I went to go find the State Library by 7th and N Streets but could not find it where Scott said it was. It is getting hot outside so I just decided to come back here.

@12:34 AM ~ I watched the El Norte CD which I have had here for awhile. I missed my Internet Access but I can see its positive aspects for far, at least for me. Constant Internet Access can result in my having a kind of imbalance in my life. I have not read regular books for a long time on a consistent basis. Thus, I need to make the conscious time to actually go somewhere where there is some peace and quiet to just sit and read, take notes and feed the brain. Time for some shut eye!
@11:02 AM ~ I figure I will just post Journal Entries here then transfer it all to my online Blog later.
My Amigo Trigger came by earlier and for sure I want to go to Sac City College next semester and take a course on Comparative Religion. I plan to go to Loaves & Fishes this coming Friday.

@12:31 AM ~ I had a productive day at the Sacra Central Library yesterday. It is about time for me to get some sleep. Tomorrow I plan to return to the library and hope I get a good spot to work from.
I went through a lot of my old videos. Checking them out they brought back a lot of meaningful memories. I have influenced and been influenced by a lot of people these last several years. Now I feel as if I am going into yet another stage in my life.
@9:10 AM ~ Today is that dreaded day that many Amerikans still remember as 911. 911 is the number one can call in the event of an Emergency.
@11:13 AM ~ I showered up and am about ready to go to the Library. The room next door is being fixed up for a new tenant. I hope it will be a good person who moves in, preferably a beautiful busty blonde who loves to have sex, can be faithful and will fall deeply in love with me. Hey! A man can still dream! ;-> Ummm… perhaps a red head!
@5:55 PM ~ I went to the library and got online for a few hours, but then I grew bored of that because I did not want to just do cute little Tweets on Twitter, was not up for an article or in the mood to share what is not yet fully developed. Then I wonder why I share so much of myself to ghosts, to invisible ones, to beings I cannot smell or hear breathing.
It seems my global concerns are in the main ignored by many others who have a zillion different forms of escapism. Maybe it is just a giving up by them that is manifested by believing they are powerless when many of us, if not all of us, have more power than we have ever imagined let alone utilized. Creative imagination is the key here, along with wisely using our natural energies.
Just saw a good DVD Movie called For Colored Girls via Created by Tyler Perry with a great cast. It was real deep and gave me a better cultural understanding of the plight and predicaments of many Black folks in so-called Modern Amerika.
I am gradually and in subtle ways getting a better handle on my ADHD tendency. I do not have to Google whenever an inquiry comes to mind and can just use what knowledge I already have to figure stuff out. Besides, I cannot Google ‘doodle’ right now with no Internet Connection.
I am left to create on my own, which is how it should be in the first place.
@10:16 PM ~ I know it is important for us to be as honest as we can with ourselves in relation to people that we can about and who care about us. Sometimes the truth hurts others. So this does not mean we always blab out what comes to the top of our head with being conscientious. Some folks could already be doing the best they can. Not all of us have the same drives, skills and abilities. Together what one of us alone cannot figure out, someone else can. We are ultimately interdependent beings at one level or another, not matter how much we can fake and feign at being independent. We need each other and that can be a healthy need.
We are in an amazing process called life and it is within this process that we live whether we want to live it out or not. It is a given we must accept. Suicide is not a viable option for us as a species, though for some of us who suffer from severe physical pain without relief it may be. Yet many of are already exhibiting forms of suicide in different ways to varying degrees. You clip the coin of suicide and you have the potential for homicide.

@5:02 PM ~ I am now here at the Sacra Central Library. Before when I had Internet Access at home I did not hardly ever come here. Thus, I have some entries on my Desk Top computer that I hope to integrate here. Although it is not mandatory I think it would help with the consistency of it all.

I hardly type about that ‘Gay Issue’, but I believe that it is only natural for all of us to be endowed with humane rights. I consider myself a heterosexual, but sexual beings are more complicated that simple self-definitions. When I was young my Uncle Chuey or Jesse Lopez was an adult homosexual and he has a friend-lover. So as a youngster I did not see being ‘gay’ as something wrong or perverse, more of a matter of personal choice and preference.
We are all human beings of the human family, I would just want us to be conscious conscientious humane beings for there to be more of a truly humane world.

@6:05 PM ~ I just got in from SCL. It was kind of frustrating with my ol’ laptop being so slow and not responding. I tried to update it some. My AT&T bill is $97+ so I hope to get that going in a week or so.
@10:12 PM ~ I did a lot of editing on copies of stuff. Plus, deleted a bunch of pictures I do not need to save, were too small or I can be found on the Internet.

@7:14 AM ~ Time to take a shower and head out to Loaves & Fishes. I have not been there in a long time.
@10:00 PM ~ I just saw The War Horse via Netflix~ a great movie that stirred some deep emotions about stuff on different levels in different areas.
Today I had a great day, once of the best I have had for a long time. I went to Loaves & Fishes, checked out the A.A. Meeting at 10 AM and then had a great fresh lunch! I saw a lot of friends, former clients and acquaintances I had not seen for a long time. Plus, I went to CEPS, my payee service to help. Heather will cut a check for me in my name that I can pick up Monday morning. Then I will cash it and pay off AT&T. So I hope to have my Internet Access here in my bunker online again sometime Monday!
I need to be mindful of balancing my time better and using better time management.
After I left L&F I went to SCL for a couple of hours and got some online time.
@11:51 PM ~ I did some editing on Progressive Recovery Now! That is working title right now. I just want to get it out without having to conform to anyone else and their viewpoints. I am my own leader and follower.

@12:17 PM ~ Just recorded a short Video I hope to upload Monday after my Internet here is re-connected.
I realize that my expenditure for daily coffee at the K Street Mini-Mart is a big expense that I incur. One that I do not see clearly because it seems like a small amount, as when I spend $5 for two large cups on a daily basis. Plus my expenditure for TOP tobacco.
Now I am off to the Library to get onto the net and take some movies back.
@5:31 PM ~ I had a relatively relaxing time at the Library. I really need to go see my Dad soon. Maybe next week.
Monday I need to post up the We Are An Endangered Species video.

@12:14 AM ~ I just finished watching a 5-Disc set called The Civil War via Ken Burns. Apparently there is a 6th Disc that is no longer with the Set as the container itself says 5-Discs. It is a great documentary that gave me a lot better understanding of all the terrible deaths and destructions that were caused by the Civil War. For sure, President Lincoln is the best President the United States has ever had and probably will ever have.
Now I feel that is matters are not handled right, the best alliances made and the larger interests of the people taken into full consideration that the U.S.A. may eventually slide into another Civil War. If so, there will be no clear distinct front, it will all be up for grabs and ruled by those with the most direct firepower. It could be door-to-door, street-to-street urban fighting with the whole country becoming a No Man’s Land.
I hope that the military forces of the police and army take a firm position in defense of the liberty and humane rights of the masses, not stay stuck defending a corrupt and collapsing regime. I feel that most Americans no longer automatically trust their government. The usual mental holds that have kept people obedient to the present unjust authority are slipping away. The fascist programming in the psyche of the masses is falling apart, though much mass education and elevation remains to be done. I will help as I can and hope that others who are kindred spirits do what they can to help create great love, tolerance and understanding among all of the good people of these so-called United States.
@11:21 AM ~ I woke up late, but slept pretty well. Just took my shower, now to get dressed and attempt to make to Grocery Outlet in Midtown Sacra.
@1:37 PM ~ It has been a pretty nice day so far. There were lots of pretty gals around. There is a Tamale Festival at Cesar Chavez Plaza for $5, but to me it is another capitalist gimmick for consumers to spend, spend, spend.
The whole world is out-of-balance. Imagine all the billions spent on the murderous military machine for its mercenaries, killing technology and continued efforts to expand the Evil Empire.
@3:33 PM ~ I just had a simple meal of three tacos: flour tortillias with boiled sausage franks with mayonnaise in them. Plus, I boiled a dozen eggs and had two of them already. Seems simple, but I have not had use of the kitchen here for around a month or so.
I am watching a documentary called Inside Mecca via the National Geographic Society.
Time for a little nap before I get ready for my CASA Meeting ~ a Sunday ritual of mine that I need to help anchor my soul. Sometimes it is a real inconvenience, but I cannot forget those who have been abandoned and left forgotten by society yet still seek recovery from drug addiction. It is my little Mission.
@11:15 PM ~ I went by Gallo’s before the CASA Meeting and got my copy of Blood In My Eye by Companero George Jackson. Plus, he has a long shelf of other books of mine that I need to move out. He plans to move to Thailand in a couple of weeks! That takes courage and I wish him well. He is the one brother that I most relate to in the flesh around here in Sacramento. So many others folks are so weak, passive and dumbed down. The truth is Sacramento is such a sleepy little capitol town with a meek passive docile population.
In terms of consciousness, the Bay Area as a whole has more of a vibrant revolutionary cultural movement going than here. Nevertheless I am real pessimistic about the potentiality of generating a strong dynamic revolutionary consciousness inside the U.S.A. Many of us are just too soft, too pampered and too satisfied with existence as it is compared to the mass sufferings in the external colonies of the so-called Third World. We must understand the power of the word, the power of definition and see that there is really only one world, not three. We are only one family of humanity, not really distinct races of people.
