I am an overworked and underpaid Counselor and Caseworker at the local Salvation Army Emergency Shelter. Plus, I work with a 12-Steps based recovery group called CASA ~Spanish for house in English~ where we try to promote progressive recovery for homeless drug addicts. CASA is an acronym for Christians Against Substance Addiction. However, I am also deeply interested in the bold advocacy for humane rights with a basic humane rights agenda. We cannot transform connected reality by meditating on our belly button and as Gandhi stated, we should be the change we seek in the world. Time is valuable. I know that many practical solutions to physical-material problems that people are confronted with are to be found in the spiritual realm, in our own way of dealing with life issues on the mental-psychological-spiritual levels or angles. Yes, if you know a small group in the local area and/or a contact I would appreciate it. I live in the downtown area of Sacramento without a vehicle right now, but I do have a telephone, Internet Access and use public transit. Thanks for your Email. I am a humane rights advocate and support creating higher levels of mass consciousness that is conducive to good health and vitality.
