This day is another one in the humdinger category. For a short time, it seems like there is some harmony occurring -- courtesy of a Sun-Moon flowing trine in earth signs (12:44AM PDT). However, the universe reverts into its role as mischief-maker par excellence by presenting a square between Pallas and Saturn (4:57AM PDT), an awkward, 150-degree tie between Mercury and Vesta (6:37AM PDT), a Sun-Venus contra-parallel (7:59AM PDT) and the same kind of aspect between Mercury and Saturn (12:52PM PDT).

These four rather difficult alignments on their own already set the stage for another round of tests, trials and tribulations. Nevertheless, as mentioned in yesterday's calendar entry, Vesta slows down and stops in motion (4:34PM PDT at 15 degrees of Taurus) and begins a retrograde cycle until December 15.

All Vesta themes -- safety and security concerns, insurance policies and investment strategies, sisterhood and fellowship groups and ties, home and hearth, ovens and kitchen appliances, wood-burning stoves, first-aid kits, priests and priestesses, monks and nuns, surveillance and undercover organizations, the Eternal Flame -- are emphasized now and over the next couple of days. Proceeding with caution, in almost every sphere of human behavior, is suggested.

Another reason to slow down is that the Moon begins a long void cycle at 6:16AM PDT when the lunar orb in Capricorn makes a supportive, 60-degree link to Uranus in Pisces. This is actually an inspiring connection for mind and heart, but it opens up a twilight zone of uncertainty that continues until the arrival of Aquarius Moon at 12:21AM PDT on Thursday.

In addition, you should prepare yourself for surprises or shocking news around 10:33PM PDT due to a Sun-Uranus contra-parallel reaching exactitude. Finish old business on a high note this evening.
