@7:31 PM ~ My sweet Friend Lisa came by earlier ~ pictured above. We had a cup of cafe, some smokes and were just talking about life among the living. She gave me a kiss when she left to catch her Light Rail back to base camp. I am working on stabilizing myself more on a daily basis. Humility will help us advance in our spiritual growth.

I hope the good citizens of Sacramento all wake up to the need for helping the homeless refugees among us. They are the canary in the mine ~ever reminding us of the poison in the air in this country among its people when the U.S. Government can spend billions on a corrupt evil regime in Afghan as part of a losing war, then foul folks complain about helping the homeless here now in the U.S.A.
The general situation in the U.S.A. and around the world calls for a Global Revolution, from a long-range perspective. In the meantime we must help those who cannot fully help themselves. These people are the result of generations of neglect and upside down government and social priorities.
The challenge is for us all to discover our own humanity and help the masses of suffering peoples. Homeless refugees in Amerika are a micro example of macro imbalances in the world. How can we not expect dysfunctional people to be the result of a dysfunctional government? In essence, we need to be discussing programs and services helping our collective humane development as humane beings.
We now have a sorry excuse for a civilization when it cannot even house its own innocent children because of the evil greed of the Wall Street -1%. President Obama hims himself is a War Criminal and supports other War Criminals. We are an endangered species of life on the edge of species extinction. Wake Up!

@8:20 AM ~ Got my usual 3 morning cups of cafe at the K-Mini Mart. Antonio there charges me $5 bucks, not quite the full price. Talked to James B. who said he was going to the Cathedral to pray, saw Danny P. who lives at the Wong Center (another possibility for housing), plus, I saw a few other folks. This routine is good for me getting out in the morning, kind of taking the pulse of the city ~at least my tiny little section of it here on the KAY!
@10:46 PM ~ Today I went to the SPCA Thrift Store and ended up buying a Yoga Mat (though I was looking for a fitted sheet). I am reconciling my not being allowed into the Berry Hotel right now. I still need to find out about my Tax Lien. I am thinking about karma and my feelings of any kind of superiority to any of the people here. I figure most of us here have pretty much peaked out in our lives, though, as for me, I believe that life often has peaks and valleys, especially mine has. So the lesson here is to continue to be honestly humble and not allow my own egocentric way block my Spiritual Growth and Evolution.

@9:39 AM ~ I actually had a good night's rest and hope today is a creative day for me.
@3:00 PM ~ Just came in from Grocery Outlet aka Midtown Mart. While out there I ran into Eric and a Brother Pete. It is getting hot outside.
@10:31 PM ~ Just came in from K Street Mall. It is pretty lively out there right now with all the energy of the youth doing their posing, partying and socializing. I am glad I am not a youngster anymore. There is a saying that youth is often wasted on the young.
An ol' friend named Doug was out on the sidewalk. He seemed sober, though the way he was rattling on and on it seems like he was on crank. A lot of what he was saying did not have any meaning or coherence to me. Then I guess it is true about it all being a state-of-mind, whatever that means. He said he is on SSI and is staying up in the woods by Placer County, then it was hard for him to contain himself. Maybe he was just lonely for human company or someone to listen to him. I pray he find a place where he can work on his spiritual individuation.
I need to remember the sidewalk is only a short walk away from my sanctuary in here in my bunker. Becoming homeless again just does not have the horrors it once had for me. I purposely keep my possessions to a bare minimum, though there is more I could get rid of. If I ever had to move, or better, when I move from here in the future, I do not want a bunch of stuff to haul out. Travel light n' go is my traveling motto.

@7:27 AM ~ It is a brand new day. I have a brand new chance to move forward, make progress, create more light in the world and expose evil. It was weird waking up to the sound of rain outside.
@11:56 AM ~ My sweet littl' blonde Friend Lisa L. came by here. She could not come into my room because she has no valid ID ~though I think her RT Bus Pass should of been good enough. Maybe a littl' petty jealousy by the Muslim Front Desk Monitor Fatuma going on. I abhor any form of authoritarianism. Lisa and I went to K-Street Mini-Mart, she got some items then we sat on a bench across the way. I heard her out about her troubles and stuff. She really needs a stable home environment and will be in my prayers.
@9:23 PM ~ We had a good small CASA 12-Steps Meeting. We did not get through all of the 12-Steps. We did share some personal experiences. A lot of the meeting was focused on a CASA Newcomer who is staying sober now, is pretty aware about recovery stuff and is scared about the idea of leaving the sanctuary of the shelter soon.
So much depends on one's day-to-day environment. We may do well in a safe zone in holding onto our sober recovery but once we are out into a non-secure environment quickly become susceptible to the 'lions, tigers, and bears' in the larger surrounding society. Once again, it is up to the individual willpower, personal discipline and self-responsibility. A recovery group helps, along with a guide and other tools.
Ultimately it is up to each of us on an individual level to work not only a traditional recovery program, but to bolster one's recovery with an added emphasis on progressive recovery, on-going self-analysis and creating a new positive healhty life-style (along with strong healthy relationships).

@8:44 AM ~ It is another Monday. The weather outside is cloudy, it must of rained last night and it still dribbles right now. I have a medical appointment this afternoon. A drag to go on Monday. I need to go to the bank, get cash and go pay my phone bill.
@3:15 PM ~ My bad. I was good to go to my Med Appointment, Light Rail was coming, then I decided to not go at the last moment and reschedule. Went to pay my $64 Phone Bill, then went to Burger Inn for Dunch (that is between Lunch and Dinner ~ new word I made up).

Comment: The above is a good article worth taking the time to share via social media. As advocates for respect for global humane rights we often complicate the simple instead of striving to simplify the complex. Each of us has our own version of the truth and no one has cornered the market. We need to have an overall vision of what is going on in the world, not allow our limited truth become stretched out of proportion to be disguised as universal truth.
In essence, present-day class society is governed by perverted psychopaths and promotes insanity directly and indirectly among the masses via corporate media and other divisive tactics. Thus, the 'normal' person in the stress will tend to be at least neurotic in an upside down world. We give Medals of Honor to mass murderers and cage the pot smoker.
Those who think all this is a matter of simply having people subscribe to 'correct' political opinions about matters need to evolve into a truly radical philosophy about life among the living. We must heal the individual of his sickness, not doctor him to death.
From a long-range perspective, Global Revolution is the ultimate solution for our systematic sickness and governmental dysfunction, but we still need to help cure people of the sickness of false-belief systems, get them to grasp the fundamental basis and critical importance of the unity of humanity. @10:03 AM ~ I intentioally work up late. Slept pretty good. I need to combat my tobacco smoking addiction and continue to treat is a part of my radical progressive recovery approach to addiction. Plus, I am going to try to NOT go get cafe at the local K-Street Mini-Mart. I want to go to the SPCA Thrift Store. Now I am going to take a shower and clean up for the day!
@4:07 PM ~ I went to SPCA Thrift Store and Lost Treasures Thrift Store. Plus, I had an expensive cup of cafe at The Shine by the corner of 14th & E Streets.

Sunday, May 12, 2013 ~ Mother's Day!
@10:00 AM ~ Once again I woke up late as I was up late.
@4:09 PM ~ I need to check about my AT&T Bill tomorrow. My Internet Connection was disconnected or off for most of today. Strange, now it seems OK. I suspect there was some kind cosmic-quantum reason, then I suspect quite a few things these days. I know that not everything subscribes to what we think of as the natural objective laws of science. Not everything is verifiable.
Mother's day these years makes me a little sad. I still miss the earthly physical presence of my Mother and feel the gap of my Brother Bobby being gone from this physical existence.
@1035 PM ~ So much for my superstition about my Internet Connection. I just had a looose plug on the moderm, a little black box with lights on the floor. I plugged it in more securely and it seems fine now. Still, it made me think about stuff.
I spend a lot of time on the Internet and I wonder if it is all worth the effort. Very few people these days really want to get involved in radical politics, though they may support the core concepts and feel sympathy for the oppressed, especially if they are objectivelyamong the oppressed! Are the expenditures of my time, energy and efforts really worth it? Am I just wasting my time when I should be focusing on other creative projects?
Life goes on. We had a good little CASA Meeting, had a couple of newcomers and I expounded quite a bit about progressive recovery. So much I am interested in and sometimes the struggle seems to be a solitary struggle. Nevertheless, I will never give up! I will struggle on against the Evil Empire in the name of spiritual warfare.

@7:41 AM ~ It is a cool morning. I only had two cups of cafe this morning. So far, so good. I realize that having three cups of coffee every morning from K-Street Mini-Mart is really an expense I can live without and coffee is suppose to harden the arteries. Good health is the greatest wealth.
@7:37 PM ~ It is starting to cool down outside. I am grateful for having Central Air Conditioning here in my bunker. I need to cultivate an attitude of gratitude for the simple luxuries I may sometimes take for granted.

@7:11 AM ~ I slept OK. I feel I cannot really capture the memories of my dreams. I know I had a small gun in one that looked like a silverish snub-nose 38. Go figure! I have a doctor's appointment this morning that I have been putting off for a long time.
@3:11 PM ~ I made it to the Doctor's Office. Now I have yet another appointment to see about my blood sugar aod some stuff for us to be able to discuss stuff 'more precisely', as he put it.
